I don’t know if any of you had viewed the previous site, but we’ve revamped our whole business identity and website in hopes to have a more structured and modern business. I am totally siked about how it all turned out. My photography and your wedding images have never looked better. It’s the little things like this that get me incredibly excited about this summers weddings to come.
Tony Oshlick was my head designer for getting this website project done. Hes a longtime friend of mine, and by far the best graphic designer I’ve seen. Im truly lucky to have such a close contact like him. If you have any graphic design needs feel free to get a hold of me for his contact information. He said he would be more than happy to do save the date cards, programs, etc for brides. I have seen weddings in the past where the bride and groom have actually created there own custom logo and design scheme for everything in their wedding…..everything from their pre wedding hoodies, to programs, down to the napkins at the reception. True these were a lil higher price range weddings…but still a cool idea.
Last but not least on this first blog on the new site.. I just want to thank all of you, future and past clients, or just readers of my ramblings. Making beautiful images for you all means more to me than you can imagine. Its truly my life’s passion, and the “memories” I can give you through these images have become a huge part of my life and well-being. Thank You!

2.15.08: New Year, New Equipment

Hey everyone. I just wanted to post about some of my new “toys” I got for weddings. We received the new Nikon D300 camera (its like Christmas all over again!), and also improved up to a new Nikon 18-200 VR zoom lens. I’m so excited to use these new items for your weddings. We should be able to get some pretty amazing results. Digital photography is amazing, and ever-changing. With the equipment available nowadays combined with the software….. we can produce visual memories that are just unbelievable. I’m not one to talk myself up often, but there are even times when I see something I’ve shot, and I am like “wow”, that’s pretty amazing. I’ve attached some images of the camera and lens that let me get my cool images.

2.19.08: Engagement Photos

I just wanted to let everyone know that I do offer engagement photo sessions. I figured I would post a few on here since I don’t really advertise them anywhere else in my packages or websites. Engagement sessions are usually around $200 and you get all of your images on CD with that. You can put them up on your facebook or myspace and show everyone how cute you guys look together. HAHAHA joking!.....but seriously, you can!. They’re usually fun to shoot….I like to go on location, anywhere fun we can think of. Here are my 5 favorites from the past year or two.

2.9.08: Upcoming summer

Can you believe it! Were doing somewhere around 40 weddings again this summer. Im so blessed to be able to have such business stability. Thank You all! This season starts March-29th and is about totally full up through October. September and November still have a few weekends open….but I should probably think about blocking some of those out for sleep (ha). I will try to get some of my favorite shots up from each wedding for you guys, especially earlier in the season weddings.

2.8.08: New Wedding Album….And Its Beautiful!

I wanted to let everybody know that we are now offering a new wedding album. These aluminum cover storybook wedding albums are all the rage right now. I have been looking for one that fit my clients for a while now, and guess what….I finally found one that’s perfect! It is called the "Mira" line....and "Flora" is the company that produces it. I’ve included an image of one, but the picture doesn’t do it justice at all. You really have to hold it to feel the quality and elegance of it. The aluminum cover and back have a really classy, modern, artsy look. They are going to be offered as an upgrade from the current leather mount albums. The current price for the storybook albums are $550, and to upgrade to the aluminum albums will be $700. Feel free to email me with any questions about them.

2.1.08: Introducing Katie Ayers

I’m up at the Erie Panera (my usual blog spot).… between the website and retouching wedding images I swear this laptop never leaves my hands. LOL.
Some of you may know Katie Ayers…. She has assisted me at many of your weddings, she will be assisting me at more weddings this summer, and she is also starting to shoot her own weddings this summer. In prep for this she has done a few shoots of me with our new equipment. Check out some of her shots….
